Does RidgeComms Serve My Location?
Here’s How to Find Out Now!
RidgeComms uses a third party application, TowerCoverage, to check location access for our service coverage. Please read the instructions below BEFORE for clicking on the “Check My Location” button below.
For best results, please use a computer instead of smartphone or tablet.
When you click on the “Check My Location” button, a form will show up as in Fig. 1 example below. Complete the form, click the ‘I am not a robot’ checkbox, and then hit the “Submit” button at the bottom of the TowerCoverage window.
A location map (as in Fig. 2 example) will come up showing where the TowerCoverage system thinks your address is located. Sometimes the address mapping is out of date or otherwise inaccurate. If you get a “GeoCode” error, try leaving out the street address number, or use a larger road nearby as your address.
Once a map does come up, please find your house on the map and click on it. This should put a green tag on your house. If you can’t find your house on the map please ask a friend, family, or neighbor for help. If the green tag is not on your house we will not be able to determine if your location can receive service.
When you are sure the green tag is on your house press the blue button that says “Click here to Finish”. Your location will be evaluated by the TowerCoverage application and results sent to RidgeComms.
PLEASE NOTE: If there is not a house built yet at your location, put the green pin where your house will be and contact us to let us know that there isn’t a house there yet.
