Do I need to have a satellite dish?
Sometimes we use dishes and sometimes a small box to receive service at your location, but the dishes are not satellite dishes. RidgeComms service does not use satellite technologies.

Please go here for instructions on how to submit an inquiry to determine if RidgeComms can provide service to your location.
What speeds do you offer?
Our minimum speed plan is 1 – 2 Megabits per second (Mbps) and can go up to 15 Mbps, or higher, depending on your location. Most of our customers find these speeds work just fine for their home or business needs. However, we can offer custom installations and speeds should you need them. For information, please fill out our Contact Form.
Will your lowest speeds support live streaming video?
It depends on the streaming device and service you are using. We’ve seen Netflix work on a Roku streaming device at 1 Mbps, but the picture improves at higher speeds.
Who do I call for support?
RidgeComms is known for our responsiveness to your support needs. The quickest way to reach us is to email us your support request.
If you are currently experiencing an outage, and cannot email us, send a text with your support request to 828.649.7680.
What should I do in a power outage?
When experiencing a power outage, your Internet access may be interrupted. If this happens, just wait until your power comes back on, and your Internet should be back up as well!
